Buying a flat in Lahore while working in Saudi Arabia
Many families in Lahore have someone working in Riyadh, Jeddah or the Eastern Province, and quite often it's that person who pays for the flat. This page is for them.
A common pattern we see: the flat is booked in the name of a parent or wife in Lahore, and the monthly installment comes from Saudi Arabia with the rest of the money sent home. That works fine, as long as everyone agrees at the start whose name the file is in. A one bed here is 74.25 lakh, which is SAR 100,610 at today's rate, spread over four years.
The installments in riyals
Worked out at 1 SAR = Rs. 73.8, the rate on 6 November 2026. You pay in rupees, so treat the riyal figure as close, not exact.

Sending money from Saudi Arabia
Pay by bank transfer to the company's own account, never to a person. If the money normally goes to family first, that's fine, but the installment itself should be paid from a bank to the company so there's a record, and you should ask us for the receipt each time.
The weekend in Saudi Arabia is Friday and Saturday, and ours is different, so a transfer sent late on Thursday can take a couple of days to land. Send a few days before the due date and you won't have to think about it. If you hold a Roshan Digital Account, ask your bank whether it can be used for property payments; the State Bank's rules for these accounts change from time to time.
Power of attorney from KSA
If someone in Lahore will sign on your behalf, the power of attorney is attested at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh or the Consulate General in Jeddah. Ask us for the wording we need before you go, so the trip is only made once.
When to reach us
Lahore is two hours ahead of Saudi Arabia. If you finish work at 6 pm in Riyadh, it's 8 pm here, and we can still talk or show you the site on a video call. WhatsApp messages are fine at any hour; we reply as soon as the office opens.
